As far as the background is concerned, it's a gradient. You will have to extract your subject out of your original picture first and then set a new layer behind the extracted layer and add a gradient of white and the color you want it. Play around with it until you get the lighting you want. After that you will have to sit down and work on the lighting of your subject to make it look natural.
